NFS4 High Stakes not a valid win32 application.
Ever since it scanned my computer, possibly got ride of some virus ( maybe more ) when I click on a program, I get an error saying NOT AN VALID WIN32 APPLICATION, and it shows that exe. path to that program. Ive figured that need to reload on those programs that have this probelm, but is there another way?

I am getting the same "Not valid win32 application" message whenever I try to open a *.eml attachment in Outlook Express or double-click a *.eml file in Windows Explorer. All of my *.eml files can't be corrupted. I first noticed my problem when I upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP.

I know it's a cheesy answer, but at some point you have to admit -it's faster that wasting hours trying to figure out what may or may not have actually caused the error. it will refuse it and give the error message "softwaretitle".exe is not a valid Win32 application Does anyone know how I can overcome this?

Does anybody have an idea about such message preventing a well known application (such as mspaint or outlook express) to be launched suddenly ? virus, windows updates, I burned a CD with some programs on it and when I went to install them it read "not a valid win32 application" If I find out I'll post it. My computer was sick anyway so I reformatted my harddrive, but I still get the same message while trying to install disk one of Office.
